This position is supporting the Fast Track Cardiology Clinic at South Suburban Hospital.
The Fast Track is intended to support minimizing admissions for low risk Cardiac symptoms including but not limited to Chest Pain, Shortness of Breath, and Syncope/Dizziness.
This position partners closely with AMG Cardiologists on a daily basis including occasional support with rounding in the hospital when needed.
This position has the ability support out growing Cardiometabolic clinic in the future as well.
Major
Responsibilities:

Nurse, Advanced Practice (APN) AND Nurse, Registered (RN)Education/Experience Required:
Masters of Nursing Degree as APRN-CNP2 years RN experience preferred1 year APRN-CNP experience in the relevant setting preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with an Electronic Medical RecordNational certification as a CNP from an accredited bodyCurrent Illinois APRN LicenseCurrent Illinois Registered Nurse license.
Current Illinois Controlled Substance License within 6 months of hireEligible for DEA registration; Possession of a current DEA Registration within six months of hire and may vary based on practice siteCurrent BLS CertificationCurrent PALS/ACLS certification may vary based on practice sitePhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:
